Iran-Russia Specialized Information and Communication Technology Forum to be Held

Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the Iranian Knowledge-Based Organizations Forum, in cooperation with the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and Raytheon Iran Export Accelerator, are sending a trade and technology delegation consisting of representatives of knowledge-based companies to attend the Iran-Russia Specialized Information and Communication Technology Forum and conduct business negotiations with potential counterparts and customers in Moscow, with the aim of helping to internationalize and develop the exports of knowledge-based companies.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Knowledge-Based Organizations Forum, the trade delegation of the Iran-Russia Specialized Information and Communication Technology Forum consisting of our country’s knowledge-based companies will also be present in Moscow from December 26 to 29 of this year, with the support of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the Iranian Knowledge-Based Organizations Forum and the support of the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund.

During this trip, the business delegation will participate in a training workshop to familiarize themselves with the Russian information and communication technology industry. In addition to visiting the Russian Computer Games Expo 2024 (RED Games Expo), which will be held from 28 to 29 December 2024 with a focus on creative industries, plans have been made to visit other related centers such as the Skolkovo Technology Park, the Cyberdam Information Security Center, and one of the major Russian IT companies. Also, on the sidelines of these visits, bilateral trade negotiations will be held in order to achieve the goals of the Iranian Knowledge-Based Organizations Forum in supporting subsidiaries of its member organizations to find suitable business counterparts and connect with potential Russian buyers.

The aim of this joint cooperation is to help knowledge-based companies market their products in export markets, support the dispatch of Iranian trade and technology delegations (knowledge-based companies), and accept foreign trade and technology delegations.

According to this report, according to estimates, the cost of sending to this exhibition is 200 million Tomans, of which 120 million Tomans will be paid by the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, and each company’s contribution for sending will be 80 million Tomans. The Iranian Knowledge-Based Organizations Forum will also pay 20 million Tomans to the subsidiaries of the member organizations of the forum to support their presence in the trade delegation when signing a contract.
